Backups

Everything in your directory /local/[username] will be backup. Hence, it is important to exclude the backups of the not work related, not important but Big files in your directory, if you have any. The backup exclusion can be done by the following two methods:

1) Move your the files to be excluded from backup into the directory /local/scratch.

2) Alternatively, update the ~/.backup-exclude file. For example, if user st04r would like to exclude the directory /local/st04r/dummy and the file /local/st04r/foo.txt from backup, he would need to add the following lines into the ~/.backup-exclude file (note that there shouldn't be any empty line after the last entry, or before the first entry):

/local/st04r/dummy
/local/st04r/foo.txt
